Upon arrival we will load your bikes on special bike racks and divide you into groups of five. After boarding a helicopter you will fly to Golte Ski Resort and Landscape Park, located at 1410 m above sea level. Short sightseeing flight above Savinja Valley with scenic views of Lower Savinja Valley and green hop fields surrounded with beautiful hills and Kamnik-Savinja Alps will leave you speechless. Short warm up after landing followed by cycling up and down along beautiful pastures and meadows with scenic views of Kamnik-Savinja Alps. Shortly after we arrive at Smrekovec which is famous for its vulcanic rock. We can take a short lunch break at Dom na Smrekovcu Hut (1377 m). After the break we continue cycling under southern Smrekovec - Komen ridge towards Veliki Travnik (1637 m). Followed by a short break and a picnic in nature, and then a descent to Ljubno. Our comfortable shuttle will take you back to Hotel Grof once we arrive to Ljubno.

The dates for helibike tours are pre-determined at least 14 days in advance. Official registration is required to confirm participation. Cancellation of participation after registration is possible for organizational reasons no later than seven (7) days before the tour itself. Withdrawal or transfer of registration is no longer possible if there are less than seven (7) days until the planned tour.

Participation of minimum 9 persons is mandatory.

Criteria of the difficulty level of cycling routes

 Criteria for family cycling

Easy

You are a family with small children who can already cycle on their own. You cycle mostly on a plain with short gentle inclines.

Normal

You are a family with young children, who cycle on diverse terrain with small climbs and descents.

 Criteria for road cycling

Easy

You are in a poor shape and cycle up to twice a week. You cycle on slightly diverse terrain with smaller climbs and descents.

Normal

You are in a moderate shape and exercise more than 3x weekly. You cycle on hilly terrain with medium length climbs and descents.

Hard

You are in a good shape and exercise regularly. You cycle on a hilly terrain and can spend multiple hours on a bicycle.

Expert

You are in an excellent shape and spend a lot of time exercising. You cycle on a hilly terrain with steep inclines and descents.

Reservation of a guided cycling tour

We can organize tours every day of the week. In case the tour for the chosen date is not available, we ask you to write the date in the comments.
