One way or another Matic has been involved in sports his entire life, from competitive ski racing and freeride skiing, coaching abroad, to guiding. Karel lives and works in Mozirje, in his native Savinja Valley. His love for nature has led him to the mountains since he was a little kid and for many years he has been engaged in various outdoor activities such as sport climbing, mountaineering, skiing, canyoning, and of course cycling. Igor's cycling beginnings date back to 1986 when he completed his first road cycling marathon. In 1994 he finished 7th at Marathon Franja. Then he slowly transitioned into climbing and started topping out local and foreign peaks. Nowadays he combines both. He loves spending time in the mountains guiding and biking. After 30 years he is occasionally getting back into road cycling.

He has been involved in sports since he was a kid, playing soccer for a longer period and later completing more than 20 marathons. He has been teaching skiing for 25 years. For over 15 years, Kronplatz has been his second home in winter, where he manages the Orel Ski School. Jaka is passionate about ski touring, alpine skiing, cycling, and hiking. He enjoys working with people, showing them new experiences with a touch of adrenaline. He really enjoys cycling uphill as well as downhill.
