The cycling tour starts at Hotel Grof and leads through Polzela, over a small hill towards Velenje. The first stop will be at the Coal Mining Museum of Slovenia, where we’ll take a guided tour and discover the fascinating story of Slovenia’s mining heritage.
After the museum visit, we’ll ride past Velenje Lake and the Vista Velenje viewpoint, which offers panoramic views of the lakes and surrounding landscape. The route continues along the peaceful Škale Lake to the Škale–Šteska fish pond, where lunch with a local fish dish and homemade juice will be served.
After a short rest, we’ll continue towards the Pekel Cave, a natural karst attraction known for its impressive rock formations and underground halls, where we’ll have a guided tour. The journey ends back at Hotel Grof, where we conclude our cycling adventure.
A minimum of 4 participants is required for the tour. For a personalized offer or group bookings of more than 16 people, please contact us.
