Slivniško jezero

We start the over 100 km long tour at the Grof Hotel and cycle along relatively quiet roads through Tabor, Prebold, and Griže to Celje. Part of the route from Lisc follows the Savinja River, then we turn left toward the railway and continue under the railway underpass along Teharska Road to Štore and further to Šentjur. We continue on Leona Dobrotinška Road toward Slivniško Lake through Sotensko under Kalobje and Jakob pri Šentjurju. We take a break and enjoy the view of the lake.

We return via the same shorter route, but this time at the junction, we take the right road along the regional route Šentjur–Lesično–Podsreda–Bistrica ob Sotli back to Šentjur. At the main intersection in Šentjur, we choose the right turn and, behind the Fran Malgaj Šentjur elementary school, take the first left onto a side road, which leads us to Goričica, then we turn again onto the main road toward Proseniško.

We return to Celje and continue past Citycenter and the Celje fairgrounds, continuing through Ostrožno and Lopata to Ložnica near Žalec and Polzela. In the final part of the journey, we pass by Žovnek Lake, ending our tour at the Grof Hotel.
