This scenic and varied gravel tour takes you from the coastal town of Savudrija through the picturesque wine-growing hills of Istria and back. The route passes through Crveni Vrh, Dragonja, Brič, Oskoruš, Momjan, Kaštel, and Valica, offering a beautiful mix of panoramic views, nature, and cultural heritage. It’s perfect for recreational gravel riders, with a combination of gravel roads, paved sections, and a few climbs rewarded by stunning landscapes.

Sights

  • Wine hills of Brič: Known for its vineyards and panoramic views over the Dragonja River valley — a great spot for a break and some photos.
  • Momjan: A charming medieval village with castle ruins and renowned local wineries — ideal for a wine tasting stop.
  • Savudrija Lighthouse: The oldest active lighthouse on the Adriatic, built in 1818, located near the start and finish of the tour.
