Ascent to Celjska koča Hut and Svetina

From Hotel Grof, we turn right and then right again at the first junction (250 m). We continue on a relatively flat ride toward Celje, passing through Tabor, Prebold, and Griže. As we head toward Celjska koča, we ride along the Savinja River, bypassing Celje. We face an almost 500 m climb to Celjska koča, where we enjoy the view of beautiful nature and take a well-deserved rest. Through Svetina, we begin our descent toward Javornik and then to Štore. After crossing the Voglajna River and the railway, we continue on a gentle path along Teharje Road, passing the Celje railway station and toward the Savinja River, this time cycling on the opposite bank. At the bridge on Čopova Street, we turn right and ride through the city to Lopata, via Ostrožno and through Galicija, past Pernovo, and Velika Pirešica. The route will then take us through smaller hamlets and green hop fields, past Polzela, Žovnek Lake, and back along relatively flat terrain to Hotel Grof.
