Limbarska gora and Zasavska Sveta gora

We start our tour with a total ascent of 2,400 meters on a side road behind the Hotel Grof, where we cross the highway and then turn left onto the main road toward Vransko. From the regional road, we branch off onto a side road that runs alongside the tributary of the Bolska River and Zaplaninščica for a while. We gradually ascend along a winding road to Blodnik, then descend from Brezje onwards. In Kisovec, we reach the lowest point of our tour's elevation, after which a new ascent follows to Kala, leading down through Šentlambert. Along the way, we enjoy the views of the beautiful nature and prepare for the ascent to the highest point of our journey, Zasavska Sveta Gora.

The quiet side road takes us through the forests of Zasavje and its charming smaller villages to Limbarska Gora. We descend toward Moravče and continue on the last ascent to Trojan through Vrhe near Moravče, Krašnja, and Blagovica. Mandatory stop for Trojan doughnuts. We conclude our return trip to the hotel via the regional road Ločica-Trojane, passing by Vransko.
