Vitanje and Mislinja

We start the cycling route to Šempeter along regional road 447. At the Fijavž bakery, we turn left and ride through smaller villages such as Podlog in Savinjska Valley, Gotovlje, and Ložnica pri Žalcu. After crossing the overpass, we continue on quieter roads through Galicija and Hramše. Once we reach regional road 429, we turn right and follow signs toward Dobrna. We recommend a stop at the beautiful park near Terme Dobrna.

We continue on less trafficked roads through Socka to Vitanje, where we suggest visiting the Herman Potočnik Center for Space Technologies. From there, we gradually gain altitude until we reach Spodnji Dolič, after which we start descending toward Velenje.

The final part of the journey takes us to Šempeter, again along quieter roads, offering beautiful views of the stunning nature. We finish the tour passing through Šešče, Dolenja Vas, Kaplja Vas, Grajska Vas, and Tabor. Then, it’s time for a well-deserved rest and refreshments at the Grof Inn.
