Piran

This diverse circular motorcycle tour takes you from central Slovenia to the coast and back, passing through picturesque landscapes, winding roads, and breathtaking sea views. It offers a great mix of dynamic riding, natural beauty, and relaxation stops.

The tour begins at Hotel Grof, from where we ride towards Trojane, famous for its legendary donuts – a great choice for a morning stop. Continuing through Domžale, we reach Ljubljana, where you can take a short break for coffee by the Ljubljanica River. The journey then heads west through Vrhnika and Logatec, where the road gradually ascends toward Ajdovščina and Vipava. This section offers stunning views of the Vipava Valley, known for its vineyards and excellent wines. A stop at a local wine cellar is highly recommended. Next, we ride toward Razdrto, then continue to Divača and Kozina, entering the characteristic Karst region with its scenic landscapes. A winding descent leads us to Črni Kal, where the first glimpses of the Slovenian coast appear. Soon, we reach Dekani and then Koper, where the fresh sea breeze welcomes us.

Riding along the coast, we pass through IzolaPiran, and Portorož, enjoying the Mediterranean atmosphere, stopping for lunch, and admiring the Adriatic Sea. After a relaxing break, we start the return journey inland – passing again through Koper, then climbing back toward Razdrto and onward to Postojna, home to the world-famous Postojna Cave. The final part of the ride takes us through Logatec back to Ljubljana, then through Domžale and Trojane, where another stop for donuts could be the perfect way to end the trip before returning to Hotel Grof.
