Western Dobrovlje

We start the route in the direction of the highway where we turn left onto the gravel road just a few meters after the highway underpass. Gravel road leads us past beautiful hop plantations to the smaller settlement of Brode where we turn right and slowly start climbing in the direction of Tešova. Along the asphalt road we continue cycling towards Čreta. At the intersection we continue to the left in the direction of Šentjoški vrh. Gravel road and cart tracks lead us past smaller farms and through the forest to the Church of St. Jodocus where a beautiful view of the Lower Savinja Valley, surrounding hills and the Church of St. Gervasius up on the right opens up. If the route has been fairly easy so far, we have to be a bit more cautious on the descent towards Lipa pass as the path leads us along a slightly steeper mountain forest path. At the Lipa pass we turn left and descend back to Vransko.
