Vrhe and Mrzlica

To warm up, we head across Tabor along the asphalted road towards the first macadam ascent to Presedelj. The view back opens onto the lower Savinja valley. Continue along the macadam road to the junction for the small ski slope of Prvine. At the turnoff, continue straight on through the villages of Dobrljevo, Čemšenik, Jesenovo, ... As you cycle, you will enjoy views of Zagorje ob Savi, Trbovlje and the Possava Hills. Before Vrhe, a short gravel climb awaits us. Prevalj Vrhe is situated at 887 metres above sea level. Overlooking the Javor mountains, you can refresh yourself at the hut. Open from Fridey until Sunday and holidays. Slightly back along the asphalted road north of Javor, descend towards Podmeja to Knezdol, where the road branches off for the Podmeja Trbovlje Hunting Lodge. Past the hunting lodge, the asphalted road first begins to climb steeply and then continues on macadam all the way to the Dom na Mrzlici (Home on Mrzlica).

A longer descent to Prebold with views to the left of Reška planina and to the right of Golava, surrounded by forests and meadows, and to the north of the green lower Savinja valley.
