Among the hop fields all the way to the Beer Fountain

We start our Count’s journey at Hotel Grof. First we stop at Žovnek Castle and continue towards beautiful artificial Lake Žovnek. We continue cycling on cart tracks towards Polzela. We cross Lower Savinja Valley cycling among hop fields. On the H-01 section of the path we enter the local road which brings us to cold but beautiful Pekel Cave. We highly recommend to stop by Flis tourist farm which is well known for their homemade dairy products or at Green Gold Brewery where we can taste their local craft beer. Don’t forget to take a look at Roman Necropolis and ancient Roman road ruins in Šempeter. We continue cycling along majestic Savinja River towards Vrbje Pond. We end our trip at the Beer Fountain in Žalec.
