We will cycle from Hotel Grof along side roads to Žovnek Castle where we will visit the castle of famous Dukes of Celje ancestors.
The ancestors of the Dukes of Celje strongly marked the period of the Middle Ages and influenced the development of the whole of Europe. We will discover an interesting heritage and admire unspoilt nature with a breathtaking view.
Our biking journey will then take us between hop fields to and through the world-famous Rojnik Hop Farm, a family estate that has been perfecting the art of hop cultivation for nearly 150 years. Here, you will learn about the fascinating history and meticulous process behind one of Slovenia's and Savinjy valley`s most cherished agricultural traditions.
After a scenic ride, indulge in a classic hop farmer's lunch, featuring local specialties. The day concludes with an exclusive tour of the Green Gold Brewing, a cutting-edge microbrewery owned by the Rojnik family. Discover the secrets behind their acclaimed craft beers, brewed with distinctive Slovenian hop varieties like Aurora and Styrian Dragon.
