On the trails of the largest shepherds’ settlement in Europe

Our comfortable van will take you to the Volovljek pass, a natural border between Štajerska and Gorenjska region. We turn right at the pass and continue along the gravel road to Domžalski dom mountain hut, where a beautiful view of the karst high plateau Velika planina opens up in front of us. Cart tracks and single trails lead us towards the chapel of Marija Snežna and the Veternica cave. We complete the circular path at the Volovljek pass.
