Around Lipa Pass

This scenic cycling route starts and ends at Hotel Grof, taking you through the heart of the Savinja Valley. The tour passes Žovnek Lake, Parižlje, and Šmartno ob Paki, continuing through Mozirje and Nazarje towards Šmartno ob Dreti and Rovt pod Menino. After crossing the Lipa Pass, the descent leads you back to Vransko and finally to Hotel Grof. A perfect mix of varied terrain, panoramic views, and authentic Slovenian countryside.

Along the way, cyclists can explore Žovnek Lake and the castle ruins of Žovnek, the birthplace of the Counts of Celje, enjoy the peaceful vineyards of Šmartno ob Paki, and visit the charming Mozirski gaj botanical park in Mozirje. The route continues through Nazarje with its historic monastery, climbs toward the Menina Plateau, and reaches the scenic Lipa Pass, offering stunning views of the Savinja Valley. Before returning to Hotel Grof, riders can also stop in Vransko to visit the unique Grom Motorcycle Museum.
